My volunteer garden reseeded itself from last years flowers--mostly Chinese poppies.
You can also see my large pots including my Inca Lilies, which are doing rather well this year.
This is the same garden, but taken on the left side, where you can see my old trusty rust and oh so splintery bench. This is where I sit when it's too hot or my back hurts from working in the garden, and where I have my deep thoughts like--

Boy, my back hurts.
I'm tired.
I'm thirsty.
I think I have a splinter in my butt.
I wish I was done already so I can go inside and take a nap.
Is that another weed?
I think a spider just ran down my arm and I'm too tired to swat it.
Is that cat pee I smell?
I don't have any on me do I?
My new butterfly and humming bird garden is finally spouting.

I have a thing for garden signs.

Um, yeah.
My daughter Sarah and our YGF put together this cute little container garden, andthey had pick-out the plants themselves too. There is rosemary, and basil, and the flat ground cover looking thing is actually a type of mint.
My Gnome couple are courting in my small
flower garden that is in front of our porch.

I put in my drip admitter in my squash beds, but just as I was finishing the sunset--
so I didn't take any pictures. But I didn't want anyone to go to any gardening
with-draw so I posted these fine pictures for you to enjoy.
I hope you liked them.

Hi Madcap,
Thank you!
Hi Junie,
Welcome to Lady Jan it always good to see a new face. Thank you, and I'll have to checkout you blog for your garden pictures too.
Hi Ipodmomma,
Thank you, I got mine at Wal-mart but I think when we were kids they were avilible at K-mart.
Hi Nancy,
Welcome to Lady Jan it's always good to see someone new.
Thank you, but most people who can't grow in containers can grow a garden. You just need good soil, plenty of sunshine, and remember to water your plants often.
Your Lady Jan~
Your welcome.
Hi Janice ~~ Loved your pictures of your garden. It looks lovely. BUT Can't
you do something to that bench. Sand-
paper or a sander to smooth it and then paint or varnish it. Failing all that, take a rug or cushion with you.
Thanks for your visit, and comments.
Take care, Merle.
Hi Merle,
Oh that's sweet that your concered, I'm sorry about the confusion but my tuchie is fine I was actually joking about the splinter in my butt. But I did break a board on the bench the other day when I sat on it, and my husband promised me he'd fix it for me. He's gonna get some new board and set them in, so it'll be like brand new again.
Thank you and check out your blog later.
Your Lady Jan~
