Lady Jan's Garden Helpers

I took these pictures on Saturday.
My Garden helpers--in the black is my YGF (Young Goth Friend),
and in the orange top my daughter Sarah.
They actually had pooped out by the time I took these pictures,
and they were looking for pill bugs.

You can see more of my garden in this shot, and there is more of my vegetable garden--about 25 to 30 feet worth. And it's getting a little bit much for my poor bad back anymore. Hence the help.
Most of my smaller gardens which are flower gardens are mostly all ready done. I just have one in need of some weeding beside my big veggie garden.

Wish me luck getting it all done.

My YGF is coming over tomorrow, and we're gonna try to finish with at least a part of the big garden, so we can plant some of the plants I bought at Home Depot.

Hi Janice ~~ Isn't it a pain when we
want to garden and our bad backs won't
let us? Glad you get some help with the
weeding. My younger son visits every
so often and works hard at weeding etc.
I do appreciate that help. My older son
has also been known to help as well.
Thanks for visit to Herons Nest.
Take care, Merle.

There are chores here I turn over to the girls (like the bathtub and cleaning out hard to reach corners). I don't think I have serious back problems but it sure gets sore.

Best luck, of course! Tis the season, that's for sure. Of course, even the weeds won't come through when it's SNOWING like it did here yesterday!

Hi Merle,

Oh, that's good you get some help too. The regular weeds can be a pain, but we a bermuda grass and that stuff is increadible invasive!

Good luck with your own gardening.

Hi Ann,

I too have turned over some of my jobs to my daughter, mostly the loading and unloading of the dish washer which can be bad on the back too with all the bending over. But if I want a job done right I still have to do it myself.

Hi Madcap,

Thank you. It's snowing where you are???

Wow! I thought all that was done by now. Boy there sure a big difference in our climents--it was 85 degress here today!

Hi W.T.,

I know you can do it!

Now if I can just finish my gardening I can do it too!

If your volunteering I can always use the extra help.

Hi Ipodmomma,

Thank you.

I Bought three types of tomatos, I already have potatos growing, I also bought; crook neck squash, zucchini, two colors of bell peppers, egg plant, and canolope and ice box water melon. The last two is more for my husband.

Your Lady Jan~
