Gung Hay Fat Choy!

Sorry I'm a little late with this.
We celebrated by my daughter and her friend making Chicken curry,
and that's a dish I don't know how to make.

Chinese New Year

Happy Chinese New Year!
The 2007 Chinese New Year is the Year of the Boar and is celebrated on February 18th. It celebrates the first day of the Chinese Lunar Calendar and is the most important yearly festival for the Chinese. Each year is named after one of the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac.

Chinese New Year 2007 - Year of the Boar
This Chinese New Year, we are transitioning from the Year of the Dog to the Year of the Boar. Peeps born in the Year of the Boar are supposed to be honest, straight-forward and patient people. Celebrity Boars include Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong, Johnny Knoxville, Missy Elliot and Snoop Dogg.

I'm a 'Monkey'...not sure what I'm supposed to do to prove that! I know one thing is for sure, I'm not going to go outside and swing from one of my trees!

Hi Janice ~~ Did you enjoy the curried Chicken? Glad your husband took you and your daughter to see a movie, which sounded interesting.
Glad you enjoyed the story about God.
Hard to believe an 8 year old could write that. The gift puppy was a
lesson in never assuming anything.
Take care, my friend, Love, Merle.

Hi Lee,

A monkey huh? I wonder if that means you just like to hang around?

I'm alas a bull, and it just figures because I'm also a tarus I just can't get away from my bulvine eath sighns.

Hi Gwen,

Good to see you again, a tiger I better not make you mad.

Hi Merle,

Oh yeah I forgot to say it was really good curry! I had only a bite of curry at a resteraut on time and didn't like it, but my daugher was great! (read proud momma here!)

Keep up with the jokes!

Your lady Jan~
