Schools out for summer!!!

My daughter's last day of school is tomorrow!!!

Yay!!!

But bad news too she's a transfer student at high school and we had paperwork to fill out for next year.

You see it's an Ag school and she had thought she might want to raise a goat.

But I didn't have the $120-to-$150 dollars to buy a goat, and then the $50 a month to feed the darn thing.

But she got to show one, and she put a lot of sweat equity into it too. Practising with the goat cleaning of the goat and mucking out the stalls, and the hauling of feed and the dumping of poop.

And then?

And then . . .

The damn goat beats my daughter up in front of the judge and she gets disqualified.

This one right here. Don't let her placid expression fool you she El Diablo the devil goat.

So when we filled out the transfer paperwork my daughter just wanted the reason for the continued transfer to be for another class in welding.

Um well, we got the paperwork back today--no go, it was denied.

She'll have to go to the regular high school next year, sans friends that she has made this year.

Hi Kristen,

Oh welding isn't so bad I took it myself in tradeschool. My daughter wanted to make silver jewelery so working in metal is a must.

Hi Jeanette,

Yeah, a lot of goats are mean, though just as many can be sweeter and tamer than dogs.

I've talked my daughter and she's going to try to make the best of it.

Thank you for the comments, take care,
Lady Jan~

Dear Janice ~~ Sorry your daughter had trouble with the darned goat
and I hope wasn't hurt too much.
Bad luck not getting into the school she wanted, but she will be OK and make new friends. Glad the little brown kitty is getting on well with Suzu. You daughter has a lovely smile, and is so pretty.
Glad you liked the Before I became a Mom - it was so true. and glad you both liked the navy and lighthouse joke. Take care, Janice
Love, Merle.

Hi Merle,

I don't think I explain what that damn goat do to my daughter? The goat hooked its horns in the back of my daughter's leg and knocked her to her knees, then it proceeded to hit her in the back of the head.

My daughter had a headache and her neck hurt just for the weekend after it happen. She was fine by monday or I would have taken her to a doctor.

I glad too that the cat and kitten are getting along.

My daughter don't always smile big because she has a gap between her front teeth, and we can't afford braces for her. I told her that it was charming and would close up in time, and it has a bit.

The Navy and the lighthosue was great, and the best part was it was real.

Take care and have a super weekend,
Lady Jan~
