Lady Jan says it's c-c-cold!

We had our first heavy frost this morning--burr!
It was 31 F. this morning, h-mm it might be for my Aussie friends 0 C. you'll have to correct me if I'm wrong.
Even this piece of wood got it too.
My husband picked the last of my tomatoes off the vines for me.
Because, yes I still have my nasty cold.
Sniff, sniff!

No Jan, you are just about spot on with your conversion (it's actually -0.5C, but what's half a degree among friends).

Coincidently it was 31 degrees here yesterday too, but that was Celsius, which would make it 88F in your tongue.(actually it's 87.7)

Enjoy the cold...

Here we are...summer has just begun today! I want winter back! Luckily, yesterday was a beautifully cool day but not today! I love the look of those tomatoes, Janice...there's nothing like homegrown tomatoes. They have a flavour of their own. Yummy!

Hi Gwen,

Yeah, the cold isn't doing my cold any good, so I'm just staying inside and trying to keep warm. Now about that hot toddy how do you make it?

Hi Jeanette,

Oh me too, that's the only time the temp. is just right, and I feel like doing my yard work. We have really hot temps here too in the hot old summer time, in July and August it hit over a hundred for weeks on end, but I think you might actually have us beat with 112-115, yikes that is hot!

Hi Willowtree,

Oh okay, I knew someone would have it figured out--thank you!

I not enjoying the cold, because I have a cold--a-c-h-e-w! Sniff, sniff.
87 F.? gee that sound so nice and warm.

Hi Lee,

I always have to grow tomatoes every year there my favorite, and my husbands especially. And you are right! There is nothing like a home grown tomato and the taste ever so much better than the store bought ones.

Thank you everyone for your comments, your Lady Jan~

Hi Janice ~ I had to smile seeing your last tomatos because yesterday I picked my first 3 tomatos. I hope you soon feel better, colds are miserable. Your weather looks that way too a the moment.
Thanks for your comments, I liked the old fishermen never die, they just smell that way. If you go to my blog today, take extra tissues !! Take care, Love, Merle.

Sorry, I'm laughing. I shouldn't, but I can't help it! It was -20 here last night, and that's after it warmed up!

Hi Merle,

I'm glad your tomatoes are ripe enough to pick, it funny how different our weather is isn't it.

I'm glad you liked the fisherman's never die.

Hi Madcap,

I guess living in such a cold climent it makes my little complaint seen silly.

But it feels cold to me!

Keep warm,
Your Lady Jan~

Shall we pack up and go visit our Australian buddies?

Cold here too although this afternoon wasn't bad.

You don't want to see 100 Celsius though. That's boiling.

Hi Ann,

That sounds good to me!

Which one do you think would put us up?

Or shall we just take turns and visit them all, and thaw out?

Lady Jan~
