So I finished the contest and I am still writing on my manuscript.
It's not finished, it need to be finished, at lest that is what I am telling myself.
It was rather a freeing experience.
the characters became real and said what they wanted to say, and sometimes it surprised me what appeared on the screen as I typed. Some times they said the sweetest or saddest things, and others time they could be a jerk to each other.
My hope is that I have tapped into something here, and it'll be the first of many manuscripts that I write, and maybe I'll actually see something get published?
But I did win and so did a lot of other people.
The contest was to write in one month (November) 50,000 words.
It didn't matter what you wrote about, all that mattered was that you did it.
Here's my prize, I have it print it out myself and sign my name to it, but this is the winners certificate.
The only problem is that when I blew it up to print, the pixels were so big you couldn't read it!
So much for winning!
