Thursday's Thirteen: The color Gray

I'm in a gray mood, so please bare with me while I plunk down my thirteen gray things.

  1. Charcoal gray is the color of our new '04 Camry.

  2. Brush steel gray is the color of my lap top.

  3. Dark gray is the color of the lap top I bought my daughter for her B-day that is this Saturday.

  4. Gray is the color of my mood since I found out I have to have dental work; ie a crown and a filling unless it breaks while the dentist is working on it.

  5. Gray is the color of the fillings that keep breaking my teeth. Kids take it from Auntie Jan, brush your teeth. A cavity is really bad especially when you get old like me, and your old fillings from those long ago cavities are breaking your teeth.

  6. Gray is the matter that is between your ears.

  7. G-r-e-y is how your spell Gray while living in the UK and Australia.

  8. Gray is the color of the pen encasing my permanent marker.

  9. Gray is the color of my silver rings when they tarnish.

  10. Gray is the color of the bottom of my shoes.

  11. Gray is the color of the Tule fog that come to the central valley in the fall and winter time.

  12. Gray is the color of my character Seth eyes in Windswept Shores.

  13. Gray is the color of ash.

Hi Jeanette,

I know *hangs head*

Hi Bethanne,

Warm of course. Like two coals when the fire burns down, but you know its still very hot inside and all you have to do is ad more fuel to the fire to have it blazing again.

Thank you.

Hi Paige,

Thank you, and I've already left a post at your TT.

Take care everyone,
Lady Jan~

Dear Janice ~~ Good post about "Gray"
which we spell grey in Australia.
So sorry you have dental problems and
I hope they are not as bad as you fear. Good luck with that.
Thank you so much for comments, and
it is hard to find new jokes and have
to re-run some oldies. Take care,
Love, Merle.

Hi Merle,

I hope so too.

I alway love your posts. I didn't think about that about the jokes but I guess your right.

I just heard on that I hadn't heard before;

A lady car broke down in the middle of no where. An indian came by on horse back and offered her a ride. She acepted the offer but while she rode behind him every so often he's let out a Yee-ah.

Finally they get to the gas station and the indian let's out another Yee-ah while she was dismounting.

The gas station attendent asked "What was with that indian?"

The lady said, "I don't know. When I got on his horse behind him, I wrapped my arms around him and held on tight to his saddle horn."

"Lady," the gas station attendent said, "Indians don't use saddles."

And you may use it.
Love your Lady Jan~
