Thursday's thirteen; Allergies

I've been complaining about my allergies, so today's Thursday's thirteen is allergies and why I hate them.

  1. Sneezes that explode out of my nose.

  2. Dripping wet nose. I feel like a wet nosed dog.

  3. Swollen sinus that make me sound funny.

  4. Allergy eyes that are so bad I can't drive the car to get some medicine, and have to send my forgetful husband instead.

  5. When I try to sleep at night I feel like I'm drowning.

  6. My allergies trigger my asthma and I can't breath.

  7. Can't sleep.

  8. Can't see or breath.

  9. I pee my pants when I sneeze.

  10. I also pee my pants when I have a coughing spell.

  11. I have to take stronger meds than I'm use to and feel woozy.

  12. The meds make my mouth go dry.

  13. The last complaint is . . . my air purifier that I use so I can breath is too loud to let me sleep!

Hi Jeanette,

Well ya know what they say about complaining? If you feel good enough to complain your getting better.

I am better except for a drippy nose.

Hi Paige,

Thank you for the cyber hug.

Hi Heather,

A lot of people have allergies unfortunitly. We're the few the proud the *sniff* allgery suffers.

did you know that a mere 15 Papaua New Guinean hookworms implanted in the bowels are meant to cure all allergies forever?

(they do emigrate from bowels via heart and lungs, up the trachea and back to the intestines etc. but cause an anti-allergenic reaction to allow smooth implantation back in the bowels!)

(TRUE!!)

Hi Gledwood,

Um,er, I think I'll pass on the hook worms in my intestens thanks.

Hi Bethanne,

Thank you for your concern. It was quite bad there for a while, but the stronger medication seems to be working. And my daughter is better too.

Take care everyone,
Lady Jan~

that's the thing about hookworms you CAN'T "pass" them: only the eggs get "passed" in the doo-ey-dooze and then... nature's great Cycle continues!!

I hope the allergy situation settles itself out aargh i GOTTA GO I GOT LITERALLY 90 SECS LEFT!

TAKE IT E.Z.
