Lady Jan asks, "They made a better Mosquito?"

I can't believe it! Here it the beginning of mosquito season and they announced on the news that they made a better mosquito.

Why?

Was there something wrong with the old ones?

Apparently there was, so Johns Hopkins University breed or sliced and diced a new and
genetically engineered new and improved mosquito that doesn't pass along malaria as it bites you.

And get this; the new genetically engineered mosquitoes it out breeds the old mosquitoes too.

So does that mean we'll have more of the new mosquito?

I guess so.

So I have a question for the good people at Johns Hopkins University that breed this new mosquito.

If you wanted to breed a new mosquito, why didn't you design one that doesn't bite?

Hi Janice.
What will they think of next? I'm
thinking the same as you,it would be nice to know they wont make you sick and not bite you as well.
But then again that's asking a bit too much..

Good question, Janice. Why didn't breed a mosquito that devours itself and other mosquitoes? That would have be a better idea!

Hi Lee,

A canible mosquitoe? Sounds like a good idea to me. Or how about one that only sucks an other mosquitoes blood? The Vampire-mosquito?

Hi Merle,

I hope you had a nice visit with your brother.

Yes, it'll be in the 80's by saturday.

Hi Jeanette,

I too think that there is a whole world of reserch that would be better than that.

Thank you everybody for leaving a comment, your Lady Jan~
