Lady Jan's Thanksgiving day!

The bird was done.my me!
Here's my husband indicating the year with his finger, '06,
just before he was to cut up the turkey.
The table was seat and we were ready to eat,
let's feast!
~
I would like to say a good time was had by all!
but who am I kidding?
I was sick with a cold,
the turkey leg I was coveting tasted weird to my cold laden taste buds.
And my extended family didn't show up for fear contamination.
~
But,
My husband said he loved it just being the three of us,
because,
he didn't have to share,
and,
that means
more left overs!
~
That man
loves
his
turkey
especially it
it's cooked
by
his
Lady Jan~

Sounds like a sweet day. Thanksgiving here in Boston was me and 9 friends eating dishes made from Colonial-era recipes. Fun!

I usually don't eat much when everyone else does because

1. I'm too tired
2. I've been nibbling and tasting most of the morning as well as some the day before.

Hope you're feeling better by now.

Hi Rea,

Hello and thank you for leaving a comment on my blog, it is alway nice to met someone new.

Your Dinner sounded really interesting, it must have been a great deal of fun to share with your friends.

Hi Jeanette,

Well I didn't so much but my husband and daughter did, so that's alright.

I still feel under the weather.

Hi Gwen,

He he, If I sent you that drumstick I don't think it be edible by the time it got to you.

I hope your Thanksgiving was a good one.

Hi Ann,

Oh, well I hope the nibbling was good, and that everyone else enjoyed the feast and all your hard work.

Me too, but unfortunitly I'm still sick.

Your Lady Jan~
