Lady Jan's daughter's Costume

My daughter as the cat faced Egyptian goddess Isis.
My daughter--walking like an Egyptian.

I wish I could tell you that she had a great time, but I can't.
My daughter's friend who was gonna come and take her out trick or treating with her younger brother and sister didn't show, and didn't call because we have a problem; we have a hacker on out lines and can't receive calls of an evening.

The next day my daugher found out that her friend's parents took them to the lolly pop factory instead of trick or treating anyway.

I didn't even know we had a lolly pop factory?

And I took my daughter trick or treating, and it will be the last time because she is already fifteen, and sadly she is really too old for it now.

I'll have to show that costume to Poppy - she's crazy about Ancient Egypt, cats, and goddesses. What a combo!

Great costume!

I have some thoughts on her friend and her parents but I'll keep them to myself.

What a shame your daughter's evening didn't turn out as planned. She looked great, but at least you got to share the 'trick or treating' with her...as you say, probably for the last time. Perhaps it was meant to be. :)

Sorry her last one wasn't all she had hoped but the costume is great.

This may have been Elcie's last at trunk or treat. We'll see - it's different for us because her younger sisters will be going and I hate to leave her out. I'll probably let her decide - we have a hear to worry about it.

Hi Madcap,

My daughter loves cats too, and some how she includes them into most of her costumes.

Hi Jeanette, and Willow tree,

Yeah, I am probably am thinking the same thoughts as you two are.

Hi Lee,

Well, maybe at least she wont bug me about going next year, as sad as that thought is.

Hi Ann,

Well, that is the way of it when you have younger siblings, but then she can go to "help" with the trick or treating.

Hi Gwen,

Oh please not tooth aches!?

Later,
Your Lady Jan~

fabulous costume. she may not get to be one of the kiddies next year, but she could have a costume party for her friends... dress up, rent a few creepy movies/video games, buy/make lots of junk food and you have a party! (and you know where she is)
