You can have both low temperatures and rain from over here! It’s like one big mishmash of autumn and winter!! I love the burned colors and cold bright days – but now it’s only grey and wet… Let’s make a swap – a bit of everything must be the best :-)
Nice blog work. I once went to the Sand Hills portion of North Carolina and bought me a truckload of pumpkins and they were all sorts of brilliant colors. I have not seen interesting colored pumpkins since then, until now.
I came across your blog while “blog surfing” using the Next Blog button on the Nav Bar located at the top of my blogger.com site. I frequently just travel around looking for other blogs which exist on the Internet, and the various, creative ways in which people express themselves. Thanks for sharing.
I live in the Central Valley of California. We call ourselves the break basket of the world. An amazing abundance of produce is grown here. I live in the middle of an almond orchard and across the street is raisin grapes which the harvest just finished.
My photo was taken just outside my house with pumpkins from a local grocery store.
You want the cool weather and I want some rain...and lots of it. It's so very dry here at present. We've had little rain for months. The clouds paid a visit yesterday, but that was all. They didn't come armed with any goodies for us; and soon left again. I see that they're back again this morning, but again empty-handed!
We ended getting rain all day Thursday last, Janice...and it was just wonderful! It didn't stay around long enough, but what we received was very welcome, indeed!

Hi Sono,
I'm up for a trade. I'll take your wet weather any time.

Hi Lee,
We could use some rain here too. We've in a drought here for years and our water table is low.
We've had higher than normal temperatures, but it's finally starting to cool and a small chance of rain is in the forecast.
Yay!

Hi Lee,
We finally got some rain too. It was nice but it's hasn't touched out short fall in rain this year.
Janice~
