My Anniversary

Todays my anniversary.

Yes, hubby and I were married on the winter solstice. Cool huh? As of today were been married 31 years.

God, that makes me feel old.

Here's something else that happens today:
Tuesday night, in the early hours just before Wednesday's dawn in
EDT, we will have a total lunar eclipse. The usual glow of the full moon
will be draped in shadow of the Earth on the very date of the winter
solstice. Three amazing events together for the first time in 372 years!

Wow, and its happening on my anniversary too.

1. I've never lived any place other than my home town.

2. I've had a mishap with my hair dye and ended up with bright orange hair.

3. At five foot 31/2 inches, I'm the runt of my family.

4. I've only been up once in an air plane and that one was owned by my step-dad.

5. I have Hobbit feet. No, seriously, they're short wide and embarrassingly hairy.

6. I'd love to take a trip to Europe one day and maybe Australia too.

7. I hate to drive on the freeway and most days I manage not to.
